The C.A.R.E. Fair is an event designed to bring organizations to campus seeking students for opportunities outside of the corporate, government and industry settings. Organizations best suited for this event are seeking students in health and human services, park and recreation management, hospitality, public service, non-profit and volunteering realms.
This year was the first time this event was held in the fall semester, typically it is held in the spring, around late February. A total of 62 employers attended the fair and 361 students. The event was marketed in a multitude of ways, including flyers around all Penn State campuses, the website, emails, information tables at the student center, and more.
The fair was covered by the university newspaper, the Daily Collegian, and the article can be seen here.
